In 2021/22, I participated in the competition
"Kampen om AF-Kollektivet" for engineering students in Norway, organized by
AF Gruppen. After several rounds with different tasks and cases, 45 participants, including myself, were invited to the final weekend at Kløfta. During the final weekend, we were challenged with time pressure and observation during 2 cases: escape box and drone building. Out of 2000 participants, I was chosen as 1 of the 5 winners in the competition, thus becoming a member of AF-Kollektivet 4.0.
Being a part of AF-Kollektivet 4.0 provided a kick-start to my career with the opportunities for a summer job, an internship, insights into AF Gruppens industries, and sponsored housing for 1 academic year. We in AF-Kollektivet were also challenged to beat the existing Guiness World Record: Farthest distance by a Mentos and soda bottle vehicle - we did it!
